Euskal Herria ( Pais Vasco ), Spain

A card from the Basque Country , the autonomous community in northern Spain :)

Basque people live in northern Spain & southern France but they are proudly refer to themselves primarily  as "Euskaldunak"and not as Spaniards or French ! While their language is considered an "genetic language isolate" not having any relation with their neighbouring Latin derived languages or any other Indo-European language , so are the people who are thought to be remnants of the tribes that were living in Europe before the Indo-Europeans came in . I know so little about these proud people and I really hope that I will visit there one day ! Until then I have this card to a have look at a normal Basque day :) Also I'm very interested in their language and I hope I can learn a bit :)
