Islamabad , Pakistan

This is the card I initially asked in my swap to have from Pakistan ! It is showing Faisal Mosque in the capital city of Islamabad. It was not a card for card swap , as the other person is a coin collector . I do not collect coins but it happens to have some from some neighbouring countries I have visited. I thought they would fit better in a nice collection rather than being neglected in my own drawers ! So I offered 3 small ones and I asked for 1 Pakistani card having in mind that I prefered it written and stamped! Usman was kind enough to send me 5! Who am I to decline such an offer ? :D All are simply amazing and I can happily overlook the fact that are mint , so here you are Islamabad and the others are following below

Lahore (Punjabi: لہور, Urdu: لاہور) is the capital of the Pakistani province of Punjab and the second largest city in the country. With a rich history dating back over a millennium, Lahore is a main cultural centre of Pakistan. One of the most densely populated cities in the world, Lahore remains an economic, political, transportation, entertainment, and educational hub.

Lahore successively served as regional capital of the empires of the Shahi kingdoms in the 11th century, the Ghaznavids in the 12th century, theGhurid State in the 12th and 13th centuries the Mughal Empire in the 16th century, the Sikh expansion in the early 19th century, and it was the capital of the Punjab region under the British Raj in the mid 19th and early 20th century. The traditional capital of Punjab for a thousand years, Lahore was the cultural center of the northern Indian subcontinent which extends from the eastern banks of the Indus River to New Delhi.^[4][5]Mughal structures such as the Badshahi Mosque, the Lahore Fort, Shalimar Gardens, and the mausolea of Jehangir and Nur Jehan are tourist attractions. Lahore is also home to many British colonial structures built in the Indo-Saracenic style, such as the Lahore High Court, the General Post Office, Lahore Museum and many older universities including the University of the Punjab. The Lahore Zoo, thought to be the fourth oldest in the world, is also situated here.^[6]

Lahore is referred to as the cultural heart of Pakistan as it hosts most of the arts, cuisine, festivals, film-making, music, gardening and intelligentsia of the country. Known for its affiliation with poets and artists, it has the largest number of educational institutions in Pakistan and some of the finest gardens on the continent.^[4] Lahore has always been a center for publications, where 80 percent of Pakistan's books are published and remains the foremost center of literary, educational and cultural activity in Pakistan.^[7] It is also an important religious center as it is home to hundreds of temples, mosques, and shrines like Data Durbar Complex.^[8]

According to the 1998 census, Lahore's population was 6,310,000.^[9] A 2010 government estimate now puts the population at 10,000,000. It is ranked 30 in the most populated urban areas in the world and the 8th largest city within the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. Lahore has expanded almost double area-wise in the last 12 to 14 years. In 2010, Lahore was ranked as a Gamma+ world city.^[10] The Guardian has rated Lahore as the 2nd best tourist destination in Pakistan.^[11] It is 32 kilometres (20 mi) west of Amritsar, India and therefore, very close to Pakistan's eastern border with India.

Aren't those cards simply wonderful ? Not because they are coming from a relatively "rare" country , but because the landscape is simply amazing and totally destroys the negative stereotypes that our TV's are feeding us when they are showing countries like Pakistan !
