The last one for today came from Indonesia ( thank you Mina ). It is showing Lake Toba . In Indonesian ot is called Danau Toba and is a lake and a supervolcano ( Now don't ask me what is the difference between a supervolcano and a normal one I really don't have the faintest idea ) . It is located in the Northern part of Sumatra island. It is the largest lake in Indonesia and the largest volcanic lake in the world . It is the site of a supervolcanic eruption that occured sometime between 69.000 & 77.000 years ago . It is the largest known explosive eruption anywhere on Earth in the last 25 million years! (ahm !!!) According to the Toba catastrophe theory , it had global consequences , killing most humans then alive and creating a population bottleneck in Central Eastern Africa and India that affected the genetic inheritance of all humans today . This hypothesis is not very widely accepted due to lack of evidence of any other animal decline or extinction even in enviromentally sensitive species , however it has been accepted that the eruption led to a volcanic winter with a worldwide decline of temperatures between 3 to 5°C ! ... By looking at the deep blue of the picture I would never have thought all this to be honest :)

Indonesia
Usually I exchange 1:1 but sometimes I cannot resist a " heavier" swap. And that was the case with Indonesia. This land in my eyes is a melting pot of cultures and divine nature !The 5 cards I got seems to prove me right !2 of them are showing magnificent islands from different corners of this vast country as well as an impressive mosque ( Islam is the most widespread religion in Indonesia ) and 2 UNESCO sites , Borodur temple the world's largest Buddhist monument & Trowulan Temple reflecting the local Javanese culture ! Terima Kasih to Anis :)

Bali , Indonesia
....and here we go to an official from Indonesia . Specifically it comes from Bali ( ahhhh summer paradise ), and it is showing Tanah Lot Temple ! Tanah Lot means "Land [sic: in the] Sea" in the Balinese language.[2] Located in Tabanan, about 20 kilometres (12 mi) from Denpasar, the temple sits on a large offshore rock which has been shaped continuously over the years by the ocean tide.
Tanah Lot is claimed to be the work of the 15th-century priest Nirartha. During his travels along the south coast he saw the rock-island's beautiful setting and rested there. Some fishermen saw him, and bought him gifts. Nirartha then spent the night on the little island. Later he spoke to the fishermen and told them to build a shrine on the rock for he felt it to be a holy place to worship the Balinese sea gods.[3]
The Tanah Lot temple was built and has been a part of Balinese mythology for centuries. The temple is one of seven sea temples around the Balinese coast. Each of the sea temples were established within eyesight of the next to form a chain along the south-western coast. However, the temple had significant Hindu influence.
At the base of the rocky island, poisonous sea snakes are believed to guard the temple from evil spirits and intruders. A giant snake purportedly protects the temple, which was created from Nirartha's scarf when he established the island. ( Copied from Wikipedia )
